A sewer scope inspection is a visual inspection of the sewer line servicing the property. Scoping a sewer line is done by sending a camera on a line through the sewer pipe. Sewer scope inspections are important because serious issues may exist resulting in property damage or major headaches. Thus service is recommended for all homes new or old.

It’s said, “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
A great home inspection report has both.
We inspect the garage space, garage door and automatic opener, if present. Garage doors and openers are inspected and tested to ensure safe function.
Experience matters when it comes to inspecting the structure of a home. Bradley has extensive background in framing and renovations in both new and historical homes. We inspect for evidence of movement, damage, and correct installation of structural components.
We visually inspect accessible areas of the foundation for damage, cracking, and signs of water intrusion.
Roofing is inspected for damage, premature wear, proper installation and life expectancy. We strive to walk all roofs and do not take short cuts. Bradley believes roofs should walked and viewed up close, never with a drone.
Chimneys are visually inspected to ensure safe function. We inspect for damage, proper clearances, caps, and the crown or chase cover.
We inspect and operationally test installed appliances for age, damage, missing components, and proper function. Photos of all appliances and serial tags are provided in report.
Fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and showers will be operationally tested at the inspection. We inspect water pressure, hot water temperature, drainage piping, water heater, and any fuel distribution systems. BHI offers Sewer scoping of the main lateral!
We inspect the homes electrical system. The electric service is inspected, photographed, and the amperage identified. The distribution panel covers are removed for interior inspection and photos. Electrical wiring is identified and inspected. Outlets and lighting will be tested to ensure proper function. Finally, we check to make sure your home is equipped with functional smoke and CO alarms.
The homes floor will be inspected for damage and any potential safety concerns.
The home's heating/cooling equipment is inspected for age and proper operation. This includes the distribution and any flues. It's important to have the home's heating and air conditioning systems regularly serviced and maintained by a qualified professional.
BHI visually inspects the exterior vegetation, grading, decks, porches and fencing. Driveways, walkways, and patios are inspected for proper grading, drainage, damage and any potential safety hazards.
The exterior wall cladding system is meticulously inspected for damage, proper installation, and loose, bowing, or cracking. Doesn't matter if the home is brick, vinyl, metal, stone, or stucco, we got it covered. Bradley is an EDI accredited Stucco inspector.
Doors will be inspected for correct operation and hardware is present and functional. Doors to the exterior are a primary means of egress and will be inspected for any safety concerns.
We inspect all accessible windows to ensure proper operation. Any defects found will be reported with recommend course of action.
We inspect the eaves, fascia, and rake boards for damage, proper installation and staining. Did you know? Staining at an eave could indicate a roof leak. We inspect for that too!
